about the space

bar mini is a tiny, cozy cocktail and snack bar that exudes the charm of a '70s dinner party, without the fondue. Designed by Brett Paulin, the space features soft wood, warm lighting, and a curated mix of vintage and contemporary furnishings, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere. If you look closely, you’ll spot tiny figurines peeking out from some of the bricks - little surprises tucked into the walls.

A green chalkboard menu displaying types of white wine with prices, situated next to a brick wall, with a small amber glass jar and a cream-colored menu card labeled 'Bar Mini' on a light wood counter.
Two wooden shelves mounted on a brick wall, holding wine bottles, decorative jars, a potted plant, and small decorative items including a black cat figurine, a mask, and ceramic pots.
Inside a cozy bar or cafe with two bartenders preparing drinks, shelves stocked with liquor bottles, and modern decor including a framed Bauhaus poster and colorful plush toys.
  • “Using only a tiny electric kitchen, Still and Gignac have crafted a menu of small plates. Thanks to Still’s trademark “under-promise, over-deliver” style, each item punches well above its weight.”

  • "They met in a kitchen. Now they own one of Leslieville’s coolest new bars."

  • "it's fun, unpretentious, and all about good food, good drinks and even better vibes."
